The most common facial skin condition faced by adults is acne. Acne is an umbrella term for the skin condition that arises from developing facial blemishes. While not as common or prominent, acne can also be found on the chest, upper back, and shoulders. These blemishes consist of pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, lumps, and red blemishes. A common misconception about acne is that it only develops at a young adult age. This is far from the case, while acne is predominately experienced by young adults, all age ranges of adults are prone to developing acne. Depending on the severity of the acne, scars can be left on the skin which in most cases does not fade naturally.
Acne is caused by hair follicles on your face and body becoming filled with oils and dead skin cells. When the hair follicles on the face and body get filled with these oils and cells, the skin reacts by breaking out into blemishes. This however is not the only cause of acne as other factors such as stress, medications, diet, cosmetics, testosterone, and smoking can help cause the skin condition. Acne is always a pain to deal with, whether you are a teenager dealing with pimples or an older adult who has struggled on and off with acne since your youth. This is why Springs Body Sculpting is trained and ready to help treat your acne issues and make your acne a thing of your past.
