Understanding Your Treatment
EmFace combines two synchronized technologies in a single session: HIFES (High-Intensity Facial Electrical Stimulation) and radiofrequency energy. HIFES delivers targeted electrical pulses that trigger involuntary contractions in the facial muscles — around 75,000 per session — toning and lifting the muscles that support your face from underneath. At the same time, radiofrequency energy gently heats the skin’s surface, stimulating new collagen and elastin production for firmer, smoother skin. Because EmFace works on both the muscle and the skin simultaneously, it’s one of the only treatments able to tone and tighten at the same time, rather than addressing one or the other. A separate applicator, EmFace Submentum, uses the same synchronized RF and HIFES technology specifically for the submental area — reducing the appearance of a double chin while toning the muscles that support the jawline and neck.
