Understanding Your Treatment
Dermal fillers are injectable gels that restore what time gradually takes away — volume, structure, and definition across the face.
Most fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the skin and is responsible for hydration, plumpness, and the cushioning quality of healthy tissue. When injected into specific areas, hyaluronic acid fillers restore lost volume, smooth deep static lines that aren’t caused by muscle movement, and enhance the natural structure of features like the cheeks, jawline, chin, and lips. Biostimulatory fillers like Sculptra work differently, triggering the body’s own collagen production gradually over months rather than providing immediate volume, and tend to last significantly longer as a result.
Not all fillers are the same. Different formulations have different consistencies suited to different purposes. Thicker, more structured fillers are used to build definition in areas like the cheeks and jawline. Softer, more pliable formulations are used in delicate areas like the lips and under-eye hollows where too much firmness would look and feel unnatural.
The difference between a natural result and an obvious one comes down to the right product, placed in the right area, in the right amount. At Springs Body Sculpting, all filler treatments are physician-supervised by Dr. Dunham.
Every treatment at Springs Body Sculpting is performed under the oversight of Dr. Dunham and our team of board-certified surgeons and trained estheticians, bringing extensive experience in cosmetic procedures to every session.
Depending on the degree of laxity, your anatomy, and your goals, Dr. Dunham and his team may recommend one — or a combination — of the following.

Fine lines and creases creep in as your skin loses the collagen and volume that once kept it smooth and plump. Dermal fillers restore that lost volume beneath the surface, softening wrinkles and giving you a refreshed, naturally youthful look.
We can help.
Dr. Dunham evaluates your facial anatomy the areas of volume loss and your goals to recommend the right filler type placement and amount for a natural balanced result.

Yes and they are often most effective when combined. Neurotoxin relaxes muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles. Filler restores lost volume and smooths static lines.

Dr. Dunham and his team will evaluate your facial anatomy and build a filler plan designed around what your face actually needs. All our treatment protocols are customized and tailored per patient, utilizing our strategic and methodical approach to create comprehensive stacked plans that are results-driven as opposed to being “sales”-driven. Comprehensive treatment plans are complete overarching, and often “stacked” protocols, where we focus on the end-result as the main goal upon completion. We strategically combine tailored methods of various treatments to work in symbiosis with one another to achieve the overall desired result.
